Plymouth crashed out of the FA Cup with a 2-0 loss at Stourbridge last night. The Pilgrims have not won for seven games including a pair of fixtures against their Evo-Stik League challengers.

Southend striker Barry Corr has undergone surgery that will rule him out for several months. The Shrimpers hope to have the forward back before the end of the season. Bradford are reported to have increased their bid for Charlton striker Paul Benson is a move to stave off interest from Dagenham. The striker is reported to be their only target ahead of Thursday's loan deadline.

Port Vale boss Micky Adams has apologised to fans following their 1-0 loss to Conference side Grimsby in the FA Cup last night. The Valiants had to turn out in Grimsby's away kit due to a colour clash, and fans are now calling for Adams to quit with his side sliding down the table. Crawley have loaned defender John Dempster to Mansfield for three months. The former Kettering man has failed to land a permanent role with Steve Evans side since leaving the Poppies.

York have signed former Bulls striker Moses Ashikodi on loan from Kettering. The former Watford and Millwall man has scored six times in his last 11 games since recovering his fitness after a lengthy injury problem. Aldershot are to loan Mansfield midfielder Adam Smith for a second month. The 26 year old winger returned to Field Mill two weeks ago after picking up an injury.
