News Round-Up

Stockport have parted company with manager Dietmar Hamann. In a club statement, Hamann says the failure of Tony Evans' consortium led to a number of promises made to him being broken. The German won just four of 17 Conference games in charge, with the Hatters just two points clear of the relegation zone.

Darlington chairman Raj Singh says former manager Mark Cooper and assistant Richard Dryden want their contracts paid up in full. The pair had deals that ran to the end of the current season, with Singh threatening to walk away if he fails to cut costs at the club and get the local council to agree to a deal on the land the stadium resides upon. One of the suggestions Singh has put to the council involves handing the land to a supermarket and returning to their old Feethams ground, which has never been redeveloped.

Barnet have added a third loan central defender with Southampton man Jack Saville joining for a month. The 20 year old has just had a spell at Hayes and Yeading but hasn't yet featured for the Saints' first team.
