Six minutes of extra time proved too much for Hereford United this afternoon at Edgar Street thought director of football Gary Peters.
"It was the six minutes of extra time that really killed us," Peters told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We are working harder than we've ever worked.
"It's probably the most exciting game we've had this season in the way we played. The players are getting better and we're taking the game to the opposition.
"We just ran out of steam, that killed us at the end.
"We made a couple of mistakes that let in goals but before that it was a real exciting game.
"I think the fans will enjoy that football when we're getting the ball forward and getting there quickly, running with the ball.
"Harry Pell ran with the ball so many times and split their defence apart.
"I felt it was probably our best performance."
