Grimsby's Supporters Trust has met with the club's board, and has told supporters that the club will need to find £500,000 if they want to be competitive in the Conference next season. A copy of Port Vale's cancelled sponsorship agreement with Blue Sky, leaked to the local press, confirms that the company had no responsibility to invest any money up front and the entire sum was dependent on the club finding other funding to complete work. The club claim a subsequent agreement was made that the company was to hand over cash up front.
Luton have lodged a complaint with the Conference after Kettering announced they would charge £19 for entry for the New Years Day match. The Poppies say the price was what they would have charged before they dropped their matchday prices this season to £12.
