Former Bulls defender Sam Oji has signed for Tamworth. The former Leyton Orient man has had a torrid time since signing a short term deal with the Bulls in the summer of 2009. He managed just five appearances before getting injured, and managed six games in Sweden before a contractual dispute ended his stay there. Further injuries have limited chances in Turkey and back at Leyton Orient and he has been without a club for nearly two years.
Oxford have lost the services of forward Robert Hall just 24 hours after agreeing an extension to his loan from West Ham, who have now recalled the teenager due to injuries. Northampton are the latest club to back calls for a return of the plastic pitch. They are interested in the idea with their Sixfields home now to house a new rugby side as well as the football team.

Shrewsbury have released teenage midfielder Luke Male with his short term deal due to expire. The 18 year old never made a first team appearance.
Northampton have signed former Cheltenham and Leeds keeper Shane Higgs on an 18 month deal. The 34 year old played seven times in the Championship for Leeds last term but hasn't had a club since being released in the summer.
