Pitman: "Two Points Lost"

Speaking to the press after the match, Jamie Pitman said:

"To be honest I think it's two points lost. I'm bitterly disappointed with the goal. We've worked all week on attacking things in both boxes. Disappointed with the penalty. I can understand why the referee's given it, but I can also understand the other side that he hasn't even seen him. It's not a goalscoring opportunity, he's going away from goal. I'd just like to clear up the rules on it all I think."

Asked about Tom Barkhuizen, Pitman added: "Tom's come in, done exceptionally well for us, scored a number of goals. You know he's a lad who will have a great career ahead of him, I'm sure. He's still learning, still developing, and he's took his goal ever so well today."

Asked about Ryan Green, Pitman said: "Greeny turned up at the ground today, he's got a bit of a stomach virus. Bruno (Dalibard), we've always thought he was good enough. He's come in today at very short notice and produced a very good performance."
