Club confirm talks with Elder

Hereford United have confirmed that they are having talks with Nathan Elder over an extension to his loan deal from Hayes and Yeading.

"We are talking to Nathan Elder about trying to extend his loan for the rest of the season", Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester this morning.

In other news from the club, Dave Cornell is to stay at Edgar Street for the rest of the season. The young Swansea keeper was on the bench at Burton last Monday.

Meanwhile Steve Leslie has spoken about how he wants to challenge for a place in the Shrewsbury squad.

"I'm match fit now so that should put me in good stead so we'll have to wait and see what happens," Leslie told the Shrewsbury OS.

"It was good to get out on loan to Hereford for a few months and I was pleased to get a few games.

"I've not really had a lot of match time here this season so hopefully I can change that."
