Accrington boss John Coleman is set for talks with Rochdale after Stanley agreed a request from the League One side.
Coleman, and assistant Jimmy Bell, will now hold talks with the Spotland side with betting suspended by the major bookies. Rochdale said before the weekend that caretaker boss Chris Beech would be given every chance to earn the job, but their 3-0 loss to fellow strugglers Wycombe left them four points short of safety and Beech's record at just three points from six games.
An Accrington statement says that talks are at an early stage for the pair, who have contracts for another three years, and both Coleman and Bell will take training for the team tomorrow.
