Darlington chairman Raj Singh spoke to club captain Jamie Chandler in a 40 minute phone call to explain his actions to the squad. Chandler told the press he had understood the reasons to Singh's actions and why Singh couldn't make them public currently. Club chairman Nick Higgs dodged a post-match radio interview with fans clamouring for the axe to be wielded. Buckle made three half time changes, including subbing keeper Scott Beavan after a string of errors. Buckle has signed Brighton keeper Michael Poke and Chesterfield defender Aaron Downes on month long loan deals today.
Shrewsbury midfielder Nicky Wroe is expected to miss several weeks after breaking two bones in his foot during yesterday's loss to Bradford. Northampton have signed Wycombe midfielder Ben Harding on loan until the end of the season. The 27 year old following manager Gary Waddock from Aldershot but has struggled in League One.
Bradford have signed Leeds winger Charlie Taylor on a months loan. The teenager comes in as negotiations with Falkirk over a longer deal for loanee Jack Compton have stalled. Macclesfield have signed striker George Donnelly from Fleetwood for an undisclosed fee. The 23 year old has scored four times in 16 games for the Silkmen during his loan spell at the club after Fleetwood had spent a six-figure sum on him.
