Darlington's newly appointed Administrator has wasted no time in calling for any potential bidders to make themselves known quickly.
With the club entering Administration at lunchtime, a blunt late afternoon statement from Harvey Madden tells supporters that he will "have little alternative but to cease to trade in a very short time" unless outside funding is secured or a bidder comes forward quickly.
Manager Craig Liddle is reported to have told players that the 'very short time' is just one week.
Meanwhile, the Conference have confirmed that the club will have had to settled their footballing debts and, at a minimum, agreed a CVA deal by June 9th to avoid relegation at the end of the season.
