Referee David Webb wasn't too impressed when he found out which colours Burton and Hereford would be playing in this afternoon at the Pirelli Stadium. After some discussions it was decided that Burton would play in their away kit as Hereford only had their away kit with them.
A couple of other pre-match topics for the Bulls supporters to discuss was the inclusion of new signing Will Evans in the starting eleven and on loan goalkeeper Dave Cornell, pictured warming up with Adam Bartlett, on the bench. There had been rumours, partly fuelled by director of football Gary Peters, that Cornell had returned to Swansea.
Amidst the mascots were former Bull Tony James's children.
A slightly disappointing turnout of Hereford United supporters watched the proceedings. Nevertheless they were in good voice for much of the game.
Finally Gary Peters made the following prediction after the Accrington game last Friday
"The second half of this season will be very much better than the first half, I can guarantee."
So far, so good!
