Change Is Now Due

You should be pleased to score four away from home. It doesn't happen often.

It's been 14 months since we last scored four - or more - away from home Or, even, at home. A lack of goals has been a constant issue since the summer of 2010. It was Simon Davey's downfall, and it looked to be Jamie Pitman's at the same stage this season.

But somehow he held on.

We lost 6-1 at home, to Gillingham, and the Meadow End called loudly for his head.

But somehow he held on.

Gary Peters arrived, and results turned in our favour. Briefly. In recent weeks four of our six main relegation rivals have won more points than the Bulls. Not one or two points. Four or more.

The tide is against us, and we're drowning.

We're a solitary point clear of the foot of the table, with those below us holding games in hand. Regardless of the injuries, poor decisions, a lack of luck. Whatever. Every team sees injustice in their defeats, luck in their wins.

This Bull needs to be grabbed by the horns. A fresh face at the wheel.

It is time for a change.
