News Round-Up

Bristol Rovers have extended the loan of former Bulls loanee Matthew Lund for a further two months. The 21 year old will be available for all but the final match of the season. Crawley say they will break their transfer record if required to sign a striker to rebuild their promotion charge. Their board has come under fire after selling strikers Tyrone Barnett and Matt Tubbs for a combined £1.9million.

Cheltenham have pulled out of a loan move for Yeovil forward Steve MacLean for undisclosed reasons. Manager Mark Yates has told the local press he only has a limited amount of funds available but is still looking for a signing. Plymouth defender Curtis Nelson has been ordered to retake his driving test after the teenager was found guilty of driving at 57mph in a 30mph zone. The 18 year old was caught by a speed camera less than a year after passing his test and will now have to repeat it.

Morecambe's attendance last night of 1,246 was the lowest Football League gate so far this season and their lowest attendance since joining the League. Dagenham's official site says there were 66 travelling fans, although photographic evidence suggests that figure to be inflated. Barnet have extended the loan of former Bulls loanee Paul Downing for the remainder of the season. The West Brom youngster has played 21 times for the Bees since arriving in November.

Cheltenham have called on their supporters to be more civil after saying they had received several complaints of foul language and anti-social behaviour at games both home and away. Kettering say they are awaiting a response from the Conference to their threatened three point deduction. They were given until today to pay off their football creditors, a matter they say they have done.
