News Round-Up

Southend are trialling Crystal Palace full back Lee Hills in a reserve game today. The 21 year old left back last played for the Eagles' first team nearly two years ago. Macclesfield have extended the loan of forward Marcus Marshall from Rotherham for a further two months. The 22 year old has scored once in five games so far, and will remain at Moss Rose for all but the final two matches of the season.

Oxford have recalled midfielder Adam Chapman from his loan spell at Newport. The 22 year old played five times for the Exiles, but has been recalled due to an injury to captain Jake Wright. Southend firework Bilel Moshni is at the centre of another bust-up after he demanded to be substituted during their loss at Morecambe at the weekend, before exchanging verbals with home fans and then getting a train back to Southend on his own. The club have so far refused to comment on the situation.

Torquay have had their appeal against the red card handed to Joe Oastler accepted, and the card has now been correctly handed to defender Brian Saah. The former Leyton Orient man will now serve a one match ban. Northampton have released teenager Greg Kaziboni by mutual consent. The 19 year old youth team graduate has made five sub appearances for the first team over the last two seasons.

Accrington midfielder Bryan Hughes will be out for several weeks after suffering a hamstring injury just two minutes after coming on as a sub at the weekend. The 35 year old came on as a half time sub but was quickly taken back off.
