Burton have sacked manager Paul Peschisolido after today's 4-1 home loss to Torquay.
The loss was their sixth straight defeat, and they are now 14 games without a win after collecting just four points from 42. Just two weeks ago, the Canadian was given a vote of confidence and funds to sign two players.
Coaches Gary Rowett and Kevin Poole will take charge for Tuesday's home game with Northampton.
