Cambridge United manager Jez George appears delighted to have Hereford United midfielder Harry Pell on loan.
"He looks a good player," George told the Cambridge News.
"He’s a good size, with a decent touch on the ball, and he’s nice and athletic.
"He was a player we’ve been monitoring and we just saw he’d been taken off quite early in a game and not featured in the Hereford squad for a few matches.
"Sometimes managers change and players might not get an opportunity, but we made the phone call at the right time and they let him go out.
"We have to be respectful of Hereford because Harry has another year on his contract.
"But if an opportunity arises to bring in a player on loan that we’ve been looking at and identified as someone we like, it’s good for both parties.
"We can assess how we get on with him. You never know what might happen in the future, but that’s out of our hands."
