One of the finds of the season as far as Hereford United are concerned has to be Tom Barkhuizen.
The young winger hails from Blackpool and came to Edgar Street to get some games under his belt which he certainly has. And he's currently the club's top scorer with eleven goals to his credit.
It's not clear whether anyone from Blackpool has watched Barkhuizen at any of his games for the Bulls but today manager Ian Holloway has spoken about the player.
"I’ve spoken loads of times about the amount of good players we have at this club, but sometimes people forget about lads like Tom," boss Ian Holloway said.
"We sent him out because we have a big squad and no reserve team and he wouldn’t have got much football had he stayed.
"But he has now played loads of games, really come on as a player, and he will strengthen our squad next season. It is good to have a young lad like that coming through."
It's the first time Barkhuizen has lived away from home.
"It has been a massive learning curve in terms of growing up as a person, just little things like having to cook for yourself ... chicken and pasta is my speciality because it’s easy!" he told the Blackpool Gazette.
