The Bulls are hoping that Rob Purdie is fit to face Northampton Town tomorrow.
The 29 year old has played 270 times for the Bulls since arriving as a teenager from Leicester City's youth side nearly ten years ago. He was kept out of last week's game with Barnet after being 'very close' to fitness.
Also back in the Bulls fold is Harry Pell, who was deployed as both a winger and a striker to good effect during his time at Cambridge. Ryan Green and Benoit Dalibard are still being monitored regarding their fitness.
Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd has declared midfielder Ben Harding fit after an ankle injury. He will also have winger Toni Silva available for selection after he missed a number of games on compassionate leave. Former loanee Bulls Nathaniel Wedderburn, Lewis Young, and Byron Webster are all likely to claim places in the Cobblers' sixteen man matchday squad.
