Crawley are reported to have changed their ways in the wake of Steve Evans' departure.
"We didn't get the ball down after the break and pass it as we had in the first half, we weren't positive enough. Defensively we were solid and credit to the boys at the back. But with the other scores around us it is a crucial point with two games to go. It is all in the mix and looking forward to a big home game against Hereford on Saturday."
Meanwhile defender Kyle McFadzean, the only current Crawley player to be named in the PFA XI, backed Brewster for a permanent appointment:
“Everybody respects him and listens to him. He gives good advice and is a good manager. What we do in training has changed a bit, a lot of what we do now we didn’t do before.
"We never practised short corners, we just lumped it in the box, we work on set pieces against and set pieces for. We do work a lot on possession and although we are being told to keep it, that can be a bit hard in some situations."
Scot Brewster has won two and drawn two of his four games in charge so far.
