Former Bulls loanees Nathaniel Wedderburn and Lewis Young have both been told their Northampton contracts will not be renewed.
Former Stoke trainee Wedderburn has seen the second year of his Sixfields stay wrecked by injury, making just two first team appearances this season after 38 last term. He played three times for the Bulls in late 2009 during John Trewick's brief tenure as manager.
Former Watford winger Young, brother of Man Utd and England man Ashley, made six appearances for the Bulls following Trewick's departure. He signed a one year deal at Sixfields after spending the bulk of the previous season at Burton on loan, making 34 appearances for the Cobblers.
