Bilel Mohsni netted a hat-trick as Southend beat Barnet 3-0 in tonight's League Two game.
The result leaves the Bees still three points ahead of the Bulls, with tomorrow's Edgar Street match now effectively a game in hand for the Bulls. A win would take the Bulls above the Bees with a far superior goal difference, and can also propel Richard O'Kelly's side out of the bottom two if Macclesfield fail to beat Bradford in their match tomorrow.
