Swindon are considering beaming live coverage of their match at Gillingham back to the County Ground if the Gills cannot resolve their current dispute with Kent Police. The Gills issued a very brief statement, derided by Gills fans, saying negotiations are ongoing. Torquay striker Rene Howe is postponing knee surgery so he can compete in the Gulls' promotion push. He has a cartilage problem that would mean a month on the sidelines and is only training part-time because of it.

Wycombe fans are growing frustrated at the lack of any firm statements from the club following the revelations over club owner Steve Hayes and the situation with Wasps. Club chairman Ivor Beeks refused to comment on the situation when asked by the local press, with many fans now expecting the club to fall into Administration. Wasps are reported to be losing £1.5million a season, and having cost Hayes £10million in total, with the Chairboys having lost £1million a year in recent seasons.
Darlington caretaker boss Craig Liddle says he will not be manager at the club next season regardless of their position. He says he is happy to revert to the youth coaching role he stepped up from, if it still exists. Port Vale's proposed CVA will, unsurprisingly, be rejected by HMRC, but their debt only accounts for 7% of the total and will not derail the plan. The council hold the balance of power, with 69% of the debt and a 75% yes vote needed to agree the deal.
Current Hayes and Yeading 'midfield enforcer' Pele says he wants to get back into the Football League. The 33 year old cost West Brom £1million in 2007 but turned down non-contract terms at MK Dons in the summer as he looked for a permanent deal after a ruptured achilles ended his stay in the SPL. Forest Green face a fight to keep former Watford youth defender Eddie Oshodi after reports that several Championship and League One sides were interested in the 20 year old, who is out of contract in the summer.
