Wimbledon are to start demolition work this week on one of the terraces at their ground in order to replace it with a 900 seat grandstand. The work is needed to allow Kingsmeadow to comply with Football League regulations. Grimsby say striker Michael Coulson is expected to leave the club after turning down a new deal with the club. The 24 year old England C International has scored eight times this season.
Stockport have confirmed that assistant boss Willie McStay will leave the club this summer. The 56 year old originally joined last summer alongside former boss Dietmar Hamann. The Gillingham press is reporting that a large Police presence was needed after the Gills match with Swindon at the weekend to prevent disorder at the town's train station.
Rochdale chairman Chris Dunphy believes the club's relegation from League One will cost them £500,000 in lost revenue and TV money. He says the club have had some good years financially recently and can weather the storm. Swindon boss Paolo di Canio has told the press he almost quit the club six weeks ago. He told the press he was on the verge of walking out but stayed as he wanted to finish the job. He is reported today to be a target of West Ham.
Darlington's fan-based bid to buy the club have removed clauses demanded by former owner Raj Singh from their CVA proposal. Singh wanted a cut of future development profits and a cut of any transfer fees received from striker Dan Burn, but they have removed both clauses as the FA would have refused to ratify the deal meaning Singh, who has a £800,000 debt with the club, will have to write off his debt entirely to allow the CVA to pass.
No Bulls in the PFA Team of the Season in League Two. Four Torquay players and two each from Swindon and Crawley make up the bulk of the XI. Ex-Bull Stephen Gleeson is named in the League One side for his performances for MK Dons.
