Northampton Town manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that he has a game plan to stop Hereford United taking any points from tomorrow's game between the two clubs.
“We won’t be going there for a draw, we’ll have a game plan to stop them and to play to our strengths,” said Boothroyd as reported by the Northampton Chronicle.
“I haven’t ever gone anywhere for a draw for as long as I’ve been a manager. Maybe if it’s 0-0 with 10 minutes to go I’ll think about it then but not going into the game.
“If we go for a draw then we go there on the back foot and I don’t want to be doing that, I want us on the front foot from the outset.
“If anyone thought we’d cracked it they will be thinking again after the past few games.
“We’re absolutely miles away and we need to make sure we get some more results.
“We need to finish the season off properly.”
