Not Our Day Again said Purdie

Rob Purdie who returned to the Bulls team this afternoon, spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester after this afternoon's 0-0 draw with Northampton.

"I think that was the most we have put a team under pressure all season," said Purdie.

"We were flat first half but second half we came out and we started to get on top of the game but somehow we haven't scored."

Featherstone had a cracking shot near the end of the game which hit the post.

"As soon as he hit it, it looked like it was going straight in, even in off the post.  Agonising especially given the position we are in and especially given the pressure we put on them."

It was Purdie's first game for six weeks. However he was subbed during the second half.

"I enjoyed the second half, didn't want to come off but I started to get a little bit of cramp in my calves and I didn't want to be carried in the last ten minutes when we were pushing for a goal.

"We put them under so much pressure with a lot of balls into the box. We had a lot of scrambles around the edge of the box but it just wasn't our day again."

It's Crawley next Saturday and Purdie hopes they will be under a bit of pressure.

"The game will be very important for them.

"But we'll be going looking for the three points."
