Mick Russell from Hertfordshire is set to take charge of this coming Saturday's League Two match at Crawley where Hereford United are the visitors.
The Bulls haven't met Russell for three and a half years. On that afternoon, Oct 18th 2008, they played at Brighton and came away with a goal-less draw and yellow cards for three players, Karl Broadhurst, Bruno N'Gotty and 'Dave' Diagouraga.
A year earlier Russell came to Edgar Street and was the man in the middle during the Bulls' 5-1 win over Darlington. Trevor Benjamin, Ben Smith, Easton, Robinson and Rose scored for the home side.
And in November 2006 Russell took charge of an away game at Swindon which the Bulls won 2-1. Andy Williams scored both games.
So, to date, the Bulls have never lost when Russell has refereed. Hopefully that will continue on Saturday.
Russell has missed much of this season so has only been in the middle for 11 games in which he has given out 23 yellow cards and 2 red cards.
