HUISA chairman Keith Dodd feels the appointment of Martin Foyle as the new manager at Edgar Street is 'very solid'
"I think he will do us a good job," Dodd told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"A risky appointment would have been exactly what we don't need.
"Foyle is someone to stabilise the situation, should know the players from his Bristol Rovers days and he lives in the Midlands.
"A good appointment overall."
Dodd feels it will be 'hard' to get out of the Conference.
"There's good players in the Conference
"I think the majority of genuine supporters are realistic - as long as we can be bordering on that play-off area.
"The one thing that has got to be improved is the home form."
Dodd hopes the club can move forward again.
"I think we have a good board here now. I think we have a good base of fans.
"The social club has been absolutely brilliant but we need to get everything right on the football pitch.
"Once we can do that then it's onwards and upwards."
