Keyte looks for Short Term Loans

Hereford United chairman David Keyte has said that he would welcome anyone prepared to help out with the clubs current financial problems.

"We are looking to move on with the development of the two ends of the ground but, in the meantime, would be pleased to hear from anyone who is interested in helping out financially, even in the way of short-term loans," Keyte told the Hereford Times.

The chairman has to submit a budget to the Conference chiefs by mid-June. Clubs have to balance the books as part of the new rules.

Meanwhile Keyte has said that there are over 40 applicants for the vacant manager's job but the board have narrowed the number down to around six.

"All the ones we are seeing have good experience of the Conference and, although there will be three of us on the interview panel, I'm tending personally to favour an experienced hand rather than a younger manager."
