Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio has confirmed that he is interested in signing former Hereford United player Andy Williams.
As reported several weeks ago, 25 year old 'Willo' has turned down a new deal at Yeovil and so will become a free agent on July 1st.
Last season Willo scored 17 goals for the Glovers mainly in the second half of the campaign. He had been playing on the wing but when Gary Johnston took over as manager he used him as a striker.
"He's a player we are interested him," said Di Canio.
"We will see but I'm sure he is a target also for other clubs.
"He is a good player and a player of a good age and a player who has ambition in my opinion.
"Obviously last year, especially in the last part of the season, he scored some important goals when he started to play as a centre forward and not as a wide attacker."
