Macclesfield boss Steve King intends to use pace and the new width of the Moss Rose pitch to attack teams this season.
Speaking to the Macclesfield Express about his new arrivals, King said:
"The three outfield players I’ve signed so far are super-quick, and that’s what I want out wide and up top. I’ve asked for the pitch to be widened, so that we can make full use of them. It’s at its absolute maximum now and if we can isolate our quick players and their defenders, then we’ll be doing okay.”

King followed up the signings of full back Ryan Jackson, and wingers Jack Macreth and Peter Winn, with the arrival of one-time Bulls trialist Matthew Barnes-Homer today. He also told the paper he had rejected offers from Conference sides for contracted pair Colin Daniel and Ross Draper.
Meanwhile, Kidderminster are reported to be signing Ricky Shakes from Ebbsfleet, with Fleet boss Liam Daish saying the lure of full time football convinced the 27 year old former Swindon winger to make the move.
