Alfreton have released central defender Greg Young by mutual consent midway through his two year deal. The 24 year old started last season as captain at the Impact Arena, but lost the armband and his starting place during the second half. Former Bulls midfielder Les Briley, who was with the Bulls from 1976 to 1978, has been appointed as manager of the Millwall Lionesses womens team. The 55 year old had been coaching in Millwall's youth section.

Accrington have appointed 13 new board members as part of an overhaul of the boardroom. Former Yes bandmember Jon Anderson, born in the area, has been named as a club ambassador. Kettering have named hoofball merchant John Beck as their new manager. The former Cambridge boss has signed a two year deal at the club.

Yeovil have responded to the 'unjustified criticism' from Westland Sports after the Dorset Premier League side had to scrap their senior team. A statement claims that the minnows had "90% use for 20% of the costs" and that they had been offered sufficient pitches to keep their status intact. Grimsby say they have agreed an undisclosed fee with Barrow for striker Andy Cook. The 21 year old signed for the Mariners last week.

Macclesfield boss Steve King says he has asked groundstaff to widen the Moss Rose pitch for a "more expressive style of play". Wrexham boss Andy Morrell has confirmed talks with departed Gateshead striker Jon Shaw. He is also waiting on young striker Mathias Pogba to respond to a two year contract offer after scooping the Dragons' Young Player of the Year award last term.
