News Round-Up

Newport have signed released Luton striker Danny Crow on a one year deal. The 26 year old scored nine times in 31 games last season. Exiles boss Justin Edinburgh has denied rumours linking them to Lee Trundle. Kidderminster have signed winger Danny Pilkington. The 22 year old spent last season at York, starting only ten games, having come through Stockport's youth ranks.

Southport say they missed on on new Mansfield signing Godfrey Poku as the Stags were offering full time football. Boss Liam Watson says that want-away defender Andy Owen will cost another club £100,000. The out of contract England 'C' man has said he will not sign a new contract with the club. Forest Green owner Dale Vince wants to turn part of his company's new headquarters into a hostel for footballers. Vince wants up to a dozen players to be housed in the Stroud site.

Kidderminster are still waiting on clearance from the Home Office for striker Jamille Matt. The youngster was found to not hold a British passport when he was called up by England 'C' and has not played since due to technically being an illegal immigrant. They hope to have him back before the start of the new season. Luton say they have had a £50,000 offer for Forest Green's Yan Klukowski rejected.
