Work to maintain the Edgar Street is pitch currently taking place.
Small areas have been reseeded and earlier today the pitch was mown.
Meanwhile there has been no signal from Hereford United's new manager, Martin Foyle, to suggest that the pitch might revert to its original width.
Last season it was narrowed because it was thought the club didn't have the wingers available to utilise what was one of the widest pitches in the League.
Also with a narrower pitch, vision for some supporters in the main stand was slightly improved.
