Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish has said that the breakdown of their coaxch on the way to Hereford last Saturday affected the players.
“Saturday was a horrendous day, an absolute nightmare.
"We left for Hereford at 9am but by 10.50am we were stuck at services on the M40 waiting for a replacement coach.
"The coach breaking down affected us physically and mentally."
Ebbsfleet's coach reached Edgar Street at around 3.40pm and the game kicked-off at 4.30pm.
It's thought Ebbsfleet will be fined for the delay.
Meanwhile sources say that the Hereford coach broke down on the way to Tamworth on August 14th. Luckily the squad reached the ground in reasonable time.
