Truro City's players have given the club seven days to pay their wages or they will quit the Conf South side. The club will field a reserve side in this weekend's friendly match with Tiverton with the first team effectively on strike. Yeovil's hopes of building a retail store on land by their stadium have been dealt a blow after a nearby shopping centre lodged an objection as they have similar plans.

Portsmouth's fans have no 'plan B' should the club fold when the Administrator's deadline comes in seven days. No alternate plan has been made for football outside of League One for the coming season, meaning Pompey's fans would have no team to support for the coming season if the club goes under. Lincoln boss David Holdsworth has confirmed that Josh Gowling's transfer listing is down purely to his Football League-size contract, which the club cannot afford.

Port Vale Administrator Bob Young has denied council claims that they have put £1million into the club, saying they haven't even had the originally agreed input of £450,000 yet. Young also says Vale Park has not got a safety certificate because much of the safety work required this summer should have been done in years past but was never asked to be done. He is now liaising with the Supporters Club to try and get the work completed as cheaply as possible.

Wrexham are in negotiations to sign Fleetwood midfielder Danny Rose. A loan move has been suggested for the goalscoring ex-Man Utd man, who netted 11 times for Newport in the first half of last season. Lincoln have signed striker Vadaine Oliver on a year long deal following his release from Sheff Weds. The 20 year old is yet to make his first team debut.


Gillingham have banned the Kent on Sunday newspaper group from the club after, what the club says, was negative coverage over the Marc McCammon case. A club statement says the paper approached club sponsors about the case.
