The manager of FC United, Karl Marginson, has spoken about the forthcoming FA Cup-tie against Hereford United.
"It's exciting," he told the Manchester Evening News.
"Hereford are a club with great tradition in the FA Cup and everyone remembers the tie against Newcastle. They've had some hard times recently but it's an exciting tie for us.

"They're in a higher league but we'll work hard and we've got plenty in our locker to give them. It's a great challenge. We had a pre-season packed with friendlies against Conference teams and Football League teams and we acquitted ourselves very well."
The tie will be played at Gigg Lane on Saturday October 20th with any reply, according to the OS, on the following Tuesday.
