Injuries and Illness Hit Bulls

Last Saturday, Hereford United striker Ryan Bowman was unable to take part in the Mansfield game as he was suffering from a bug.

Hopefully he will be back this Saturday for the visit of Stockport but it's unlikely he will be 100% fit.

And it looks as though one or two other players have been hit with the same bug so manager Martin Foyle may have to make some changes to the starting eleven.

"Today we have one of two injuries and one or two illnesses which concerns me a little bit in terms of selection for the weekend," Foyle told Bulls Player.

"Ryan has lost a little bit of weight. It's a viral bug.

"A little bit of concern about Ryan but hopefully he'll be okay.

"There's one or two with injuries which I would rather keep quiet.

"Townsend has had an injection in his back. He's been out three or four weeks.

"He's probably going to need a mini-preseason to get himself fit and sharp again."

Foyle said that currently both Will Evans and James McQuilken were available for loan.

"I haven't had a phone call," said Foyle.
