Former Walsall and Luton Town manager Richard Money has been named as head coach at Cambridge, replacing Jez George.
George reverts to his former Director of Football role he held before Martin Ling's dismissal as manager. Under George, the U's had gone eight games without a win before Saturday's 4-2 victory at Barrow that saw them face a Bluebirds side without a recognised goalkeeper for 75 minutes.
Money, who had been interviewed for the job at Edgar Street in the summer, left Luton 18 months ago with third place in the Conference not good enough for the Hatters.
