The sponsored walk from Malvern to Hereford on December 1st has already attracted more than £2,000 in sponsorship.
The group, who will make the walk before the AFC Telford match, broke the target after a fan in Belgium, who wanted to remain anonymous, handed over £250 to the cause.
Organiser Jon Hale said: 'The fan, who wants to remain nameless preferring instead to praise all those who are doing things to help the club, still gets over to watch games occasionally. In his own words “its time to make a sacrifice for the club. If we can't do it now, it will never happen!”'
