Josh O'Keefe's debut goal for the Bulls was enough to earn £5,000 and passage to Round Two of the FA Trophy with a 1-0 win over Ebbsfleet United.
A scrappy affair played in very wet conditions, the Bulls were on the backfoot for a lot of the game and ended without a recognised striker on the field with Ryan Bowman missing out. However the balance changed when the home side had a man sent off for an apparent headbutt aimed at Kyle Perry.
Marley Watkins also missed out after initially being named in the starting XI when he pulled up in the pre-match warm up. The Second Round is on December 15th, with the draw expected to be announced on Monday lunchtime.
