Hearts have issued a plea for "emergency backing" from it's fans after being hit with a winding up petition from the taxman for £450,000. After originally issuing a statement claiming they had sufficient income due from TV revenue, matches, and transfer income to cover the demand, they later issued a revised statement warning that their game on November 17th could be their last with the taxman expecting repayment in just eight days. They are also in dispute with HMRC over a £1.75million demand over a series of loan players from their owner's Lithuanian club.
Kettering have sorted out their problem of having no electricity at Nene Park - by moving Saturday's game to Corby's Steel Park. The switch, supposedly for a single match, will see the club celebrate it's 140th anniversary with it's first game in a month. Alfreton have agreed to release midfielder Jake Moult so that he can join loan side Altrincham on a permanent deal. The 23 year old joined the Robins at the start of the season after 18 months with the Reds. Mansfield have released non-contract midfielder Solomon Taiwo, with Stags boss Paul Cox saying he will axe more of his underperforming squad. 27 year old Taiwo made only one appearance for the Stags.
