The Bulls make the long trek East to face Lincoln City in a Conference match tomorrow.
It will be the first time the two sides have faced each other in the fifth tier despite both sides being in their second stint in the Conference. The Imps got the better of the League outings in their last meetings in the 2010/11 season, winning both matches, but the Bulls edged a FA Cup replay meeting at Sincil Bank 4-3 with Mathieu Manset and Stuart Fleetwood scoring twice apiece and Ryan Green getting a late red card.
The Imps have added striker Adam Boyd to their ranks, the second ex-Hartlepool forward at Sincil Bank, with former Eastbourne striker Jamie Taylor their top scorer with nine goals. The Imps go into the match on a nine match unbeaten run after fans were calling for the head of boss David Holdsworth early on in the season, getting themselves up to 13th place in the table. Holdsworth reports that they have a number of minor injuries in their camp after a gruelling run of matches, and he expects to make some changes to the starting lineup.
The Bulls travel to Lincolnshire expecting to field ten of the XI that started last time. Only the departure of Chris Todd is likely to force a change, with the Bulls only having midfield and forward options alongside keeper Dan Hanford on the bench at Wrexham. The Bulls themselves are seven matches unbeaten including a League One side and dispatching the second place side in the table twice in the space of eight days.
Lincoln City vs Hereford United, Sincil Bank, Saturday 17th November, 3.00pm.
