Results Round-Up


With Luton losing at Edgar Street, Newport increased their lead at the top to four points with a 6-2 win over sorry Cambridge. The Hatters slip to third with Wrexham beating Southport 4-1 to move above them on goal difference. Grimsby are fourth after losing 3-2 at Hyde, while Forest Green are fifth after beating sixth place Dartford 1-0. Macclesfield are up to seventh with a 2-0 win over Tamworth, but attracted just 1,089 to Moss Rose for the match. Gateshead are eighth after beating Alfreton 2-0 but recorded their second sub-500 gate of the week. Stockport beat Barrow 3-1 to move up to ninth.

At the bottom of the table, Nuneaton prop the division up despite holding Mansfield to a 1-1 draw. Ebbsfleet are 23rd after a 2-2 draw at Telford, with Braintree just above Hyde after their 3-0 loss at Lincoln that saw the Imps move up to 15th. Cambridge are only goal difference above the relegation line along with Kidderminster, who missed a penalty in their 2-2 draw with Woking.
