The matter was finally settled Wednesday night with Jefferies insisting that the squad was due to have that day off anyway. They called off the match after losing a court case against a former director.

The 36 year old has made just six appearances since signing late in the summer due to a persistent hamstring problem, but is now reported to be fit. Macclesfield have loaned midfielder Harry Agombar to Ryman League side Grays for a month. His only first team action this season since his summer move to Moss Rose has been in a loan spell at Histon.
