News Round-Up

Dagenham have announced the sale of striker Dwight Gayle to Peterboro for an initial £500,000. The 22 year old netted five times in six games on loan at the Posh since a November loan move. Wrexham want to sign loan defender Danny Devine on a permanent deal after he was released by Fleetwood. The 20 year old's loan spell ended last week but he is now a free agent after agreeing a settlement.

Grimsby face competition from 'one or two other' Conference sides for striker Ross Hannah, according to Bradford boss Phil Parkinson. The 26 year old is out of contract in the summer. Kidderminster director Joe Hancox says the club's finances are in good shape despite a £250,000 loss last season. He says the only long term debt at the club is a £56,000 brewery loan that is being repaid at £400 a month.

Luton have confirmed the signing of winger Scott Neilson following his release from Crawley. The 25 year old, who will not be eligible to play until New Years Day, has signed a deal to the end of the season after playing 10 games on loan at Grimsby. Gateshead have parted company with coach Derek Forrest after new boss Anth Smith wanting to bring his own men into the backroom. Forrest also served as the club's kitman.
