Foyle and Porter 'Set' To Sign New Deals

It appears that the new contracts offered by Hereford United to manager Martin Foyle and his assistant Andy Porter will be agreed, however yesterday's report in the Hereford Times which said the deals had been 'signed' might have been a bit premature.

BBC Hereford and Worcester have spoken to Foyle today and their report says that "everything has been agreed" but not yet finalised.

"It's been a tough time but we're looking forward to running the club for the next two years," said Foyle.

Meanwhile chairman David Keyte has also spoken to H&W.

"Martin is talking about his thoughts for next season throughout the club.

"He would be responsible for the youth and the community as well.

"You've got to get it right for them on a personnel level just to give them some security.

"They walked into a situation of a relegated club.

"We halved the budget from last years and they set sail and pulled a squad together that, if anything, has given us more expectation that perhaps we warranted financially."
