For the second time in four days Hereford United have taken the lead but failed to hold onto it and manager Martin Foyle suggested the players may have stage fright at Edgar Street.

"Their (Alfreton) second goal was criminal. It wasn't even a long throw, their lad Arnold is facing away, nobody has gone to close him down, he turned and had a shot. So poor.
"Then on the third one it was closing down crosses. Corbs has got done at the back stick relatively too easy and then Bitts should have just palmed it away instead of trying to catch it. So again a very, very soft goal.
"I'm frustrated because that's probably four points dropped in the last two games.
"We haven't lost but it's not good enough.
"I can't criticise the pitch too much because both teams have to play on it."
The interview then turned to the transfer situation.
"I'm trying but there is a price tag and I've got to stick to it. It's hard.
"Some of the boys that aren't involved probably need a fresh start to go and play some games elsewhere.
"And I need to bring some in to freshen up the pack.
"The lads are a little bit down on confidence which is what I can't understand.
"They've lost two in thirteen games - I can't see where this has just come from but there seems to be stage fright here and I think we showed it here today."
