The Last Time Hereford Played At The Lawn (Friendly - July 2011)

Tuesday evening's game at the New Lawn between Forest Green Rovers and Hereford United remains in doubt.

The pitch may be playable but the 'surrounding areas' could be a real problem.

Here's an update from a Forest Green supporter:

The situation at the moment is that frost covers went down before the snow fell, and are now covered in about 3-4 inches of snow. It shouldn't be a problem to clear this and the pitch should be soft underneath. 

However there is more concern about 'the surrounding areas' etc. The ground, being at the top of the hill, is almost inaccessible because of ice and snow. More of this is forecast. On Saturday for the trip to Stockport both players and supporters had to meet their buses down in town as these couldn't get up the hill.
