Preedy Very Pleased With Three Points

Ryan Bowman About To Kick-Off

Hereford United director Dave Preedy was very pleased with the three points gained at Braintree this afternoon.

"Hard place to come to," Preedy told BN.

"Not a bad side, they score goals, just below us in the league.

"So three points, fantastic today.

"And I think we deserved it.

Sam Clucas
"It should have been three goals, I think the linesman made a mistake with Sams. He kept his flag down for a long time.

"But I'll take a 2-0 and it's Wrexham on Tuesday."

Some Of The Hereford Faithfull
Preedy was very pleased with the turnout of Hereford United supporters and the way they backed the side.

"What a good turnout for a place this far away."

Chris Sharp scored Hereford's first goal, his first for his new club.

"Great to see Sharp getting a goal. I think that will start him off now.

"I thought Marlon and Marley worked very well together.

Kingsley James With Luke Graham
"Luke Graham had a great game, James had a fantastic game.

"I look at the state of the pitch now, it was uphill second half, harder for us, but I thought we could have scored more."

Dan Hanford made several good saves after the Bulls went two ahead.

"Yes they could have scored, if they had scored one it might have changed the game but Dan did well in goal and kept a clean sheet."

Preedy remains optimistic that the Bulls could get in the play-offs.

"I'm still hopeful we can knock on the door.

"And that would get the crowds back."
