Macclesfield's faint hopes were dented last night, going down 4-0 at home to struggling Gateshead.
Down the bottom, Telford are four points short of safety with 11 games left. Ebbsfleet didn't play, with Barrow drawing 0-0 at Lincoln to keep both in trouble. Nuneaton also didn't play to remain in the bottom four after Gateshead's win, while Hyde lost 2-0 at Tamworth to stay within two points of trouble.
